MEG Core

MEG Core offers excellent environment for magnetoencephalography (MEG). MEG Core has a state-of-the-art 306-channel MEG device (MEGIN TRIUX neo, MEGIN Oy, Helsinki, Finland) in a high-end 3-layered magnetically shielded room (Imedco AG, Hägendorf, Switzerland). MEG Core has extremely low magnetic ambient noise level and a wide variety of MEG-compatible stimulators and monitoring devices for successful MEG measurements.
MEG Core

Magnetoencephalography

MEG Core has gradually developed from an in-house MEG laboratory of the Low Temperature Laboratory of the Helsinki University of Technology to a research infrastructure serving Aalto University and other researchers. MEG Core facilitates multidisciplinary brain imaging. We also organise MEG introductory training for new MEG users together with MEGIN Oy.

MEG Core has moved to new renovated facilities at Puumiehenkuja in 2008. At the same time, the magnetically shielded room (MSR) and MEG device were updated. The premises have very low ambient magnetic noise.
